Ministry of Defense: The concerned authorities are beginning to deal with the targeting of Al-Salam military base
ABU DHABI, 1st March / WAM / The Ministry of Defense announced that the specialized teams today dealt with an incident resulting from the targeting carried out by two Iranian drones on one of the warehouses of the Al Salam Naval Base in Abu Dhabi, which resulted in a fire breaking out in two containers of stored general materials, without causing human losses.
The Ministry condemned in the strongest terms this military targeting, considering it a blatant aggression and a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and international law, and that the state reserves its full right to respond to this escalation and take all necessary measures to protect its lands, people and residents, in a way that guarantees the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
The Ministry of Defense confirmed that it is fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats, and that it is taking all necessary measures to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the security and stability of the state.
She added that the safety of citizens, residents and visitors is a top priority that cannot be neglected.
