المملكة: The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Russia praises the programs of dates and iftar for those who are fasting

He stressed that these blessed initiatives embody the depth of the message of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving Islam and Muslims, and reflect the care and attention given by the wise leadership – may God support it – to supporting Muslim communities around the world.

An extension of the humanitarian approach

He explained that the two programs come as an extension of the established humanitarian approach pursued by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince. Al-Amin – may God protect them – in consolidating the values of solidarity and compassion, and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood between peoples.

He pointed out that the distribution of dates and the establishment of Iftar tables for fasting people in a number of Russian cities was widely welcomed by religious leaders and members of the Muslim community.

Ambassador Al-Sadhan noted the great role played by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs under the leadership of His Excellency the Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif. bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh in expanding the scope of these programs to include more than (120) countries around the world during the holy month of Ramadan, which reflects the Kingdom’s leadership in Islamic and humanitarian work, and confirms its positive and influential presence on the international arena.

The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Russian Federation, Professor Sami bin Muhammad Al-Sadhan, added that these two programs have a tangible impact in enhancing the spirit of solidarity and compassion among the members of the Muslim community in Russia, and consolidating the meanings of Islamic brotherhood in the holy month of Ramadan.

Saudi Humanitarian Initiatives

He stressed that the Kingdom’s initiatives are not limited to the relief dimension only, but extend to nourishing the soul, deepening faith values, and building bridges of human and cultural communication between peoples.

He pointed out that the presence and interaction witnessed by the program reflects the high position that the Kingdom enjoys in the hearts of Muslims around the world, and embodies its firm policy of spreading goodness and peace and promoting the approach of moderation. And moderation.
