The Head of State receives a phone call from the interim President of Venezuela, during which she affirmed solidarity with the UAE following the Iranian attacks on its territory.
Abu Dhabi, 4 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today a phone call from Her Excellency President Delcy Rodriguez, President of the Interim Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, during which she condemned the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the lands of the UAE and a number of sister countries in the region, expressing Venezuela’s solidarity with the UAE regarding all the measures it is taking to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its territories and citizens.
For his part, His Highness the President of the State expressed his thanks to Her Excellency for Venezuela’s position in support of the UAE.
The two sides stressed the need to immediately stop military actions and return to dialogue and diplomatic means in a way that contributes to sparing the region further escalation and preserving regional and international security and stability.
