"Sharjah roads": Zayed Humanitarian Work Day embodies the country’s established values
Sharjah, 8 March / WAM / His Excellency Engineer Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, confirmed that Zayed Humanitarian Work Day represents a national and humanitarian occasion through which we commemorate the blessed biography of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and his profound legacy in the fields of charity and humanitarian work.
Al-Othmani said that Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, set a distinguished model in instilling the values of human solidarity and solidarity, as his humanitarian initiatives extended to all parts of the world, carrying a noble message focused on supporting those in need and alleviating human suffering everywhere.
He pointed out that these values have become an established approach followed by the UAE, which continues its pioneering role in humanitarian and development work regionally and internationally.
He stressed that this occasion reinforces in the hearts of the people of the Emirates the determination to continue on the path of giving, and to adhere to the principles whose foundations were laid by Sheikh Zayed in Emirati society, so that humanitarian work remains an essential pillar of the country’s identity and its cultural mission.
