Ammar bin Humaid witnesses the conclusion of the 20th session of events "Ramadan Ajman"

Ajman, 9th March / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, witnessed the closing ceremony of the 20th session of the activities of (Ramadan Ajman… Piety and Faith), which was held at Al Safia Rest House.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman stressed that the “Ramadan Ajman” activities embody the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman in promoting religious values and establishing tolerance among members of society. His Highness praised the great community interaction witnessed by the events this year, which confirms their success in achieving their religious and societal goals.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi said: The success of the “Ramadan Ajman” activities reflects the great position that these events have come to occupy in the hearts of the people of the emirate and its visitors, because of the religious and spiritual values they carry that contribute to enhancing the atmosphere of the holy month and consolidating the meanings of rapprochement and cohesion among members of society.
His Highness pointed out that the large public presence and wide interaction achieved through social media platforms confirms the importance of continuing to develop these events and enhancing their societal and faith impact in the coming years, which contributes to consolidating Ajman’s position as an incubating environment for community, cultural and religious activities that serve society and promote positive values.
His Highness stressed that the holy month of Ramadan is a great occasion to promote the values of giving, tolerance and compassion among people, praying to God to return these blessed days to the UAE, its leadership and its people with goodness and blessings, and to perpetuate the nation with the blessing of security and stability.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman honored the sponsors and supporters in appreciation of their efforts in making the events a success, and their continued support for community initiatives that promote religious and humanitarian values.
This year, the “Ramadan Ajman” activities witnessed wide participation from readers, as the emirate hosted 35 readers who performed Tarawih prayers in six major mosques, amid a remarkable presence of worshipers.
The mosques that hosted the events recorded a large attendance of worshipers, with a total number of about 230,000 worshipers during the 19 days of the month of Ramadan, with an average of approximately 13,000 worshipers per day, while the Amna Bint Ahmed Al Ghurair Mosque witnessed one of the most prominent nights with the attendance of nearly 8,000 worshipers during Tarawih prayers behind the reciter Mishari bin Rashid Al-Afasy.
The impact of the events extended to the digital space, as views of content related to “Ramadan Ajman” events across social media platforms exceeded 20 million views within 19 days, which reflects the great interest these events receive annually, and enhances their position as one of the most prominent community Ramadan programs in the emirate.
