The UAE condemns the attempt to treacherously target Turkey with an Iranian ballistic missile

The UAE strongly condemned the attempt to treacherously target the friendly Republic of Turkey with an Iranian ballistic missile for the second time in less than a week, as NATO air defenses succeeded in intercepting and destroying it after it entered Turkish airspace, considering that these hostile actions represent a dangerous escalation, a blatant violation of the sovereignty of states, and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, in a statement, that the continued targeting of brotherly and friendly countries is condemnable by all legal and political standards, and constitutes an unacceptable escalation and increases tension in the region.
