Putin is waiting for a “signal” from Europe to supply it with oil and gas

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed on Monday that his country is ready to supply European countries with oil and gas if they request it within the framework of “permanent and regular cooperation” with Moscow, with the prices of energy sources rising due to the war in the Middle East.

“We are ready to work with the Europeans, but we need them to give us signals that they are ready and willing” to do so, Putin said during a government meeting devoted to discussing the state of the markets.
