ABU DHABI, March 10, 2017 (WAM) – The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council concluded the final stage of the “Falcon Tank” competition within the “Raeda” program, which is organized by the council in cooperation with the Publicis Group Middle East, in a step that embodies its commitment to supporting and empowering female entrepreneurs and enhancing their readiness to enter the market with confidence and sustainability.
Her Excellency Asma Al Fahim, Chairwoman of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, said in a press statement that the conclusion of the competition represents an important milestone within the “Raida” program, which represents an integrated journey designed to enable female entrepreneurs to develop their marketing capabilities and build practical, implementable strategies.
She added that supporting women in entrepreneurship is an essential foundation for building a sustainable economy based on innovation and competitiveness, and that the Council works, through these initiatives, to provide a supportive environment that enables women entrepreneurs to develop and expand their projects with confidence and readiness.
The final stage was the culmination of a comprehensive training trip that focused on enhancing the marketing capabilities of female entrepreneurs and providing them with practical skills to transform ideas into clear and applicable marketing plans.
Zenith Middle East, a subsidiary of Publicis Group Middle East, worked closely with the participants to provide guidance in building strong, commercially viable marketing strategies, including developing brand positioning, identifying appropriate channels, and building media planning frameworks.
Basil Kaksh, CEO of Publicis Group Middle East and Turkey, said that the company is cooperating with the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen’s Council to support female entrepreneurs and small projects with the strategic marketing capabilities necessary for growth and expansion, pointing out that the “Falcon Tank” competition helps transform the vision possessed by the female entrepreneur into real commercial momentum.
The “Falcon Tank” competition formed the application platform for the program, as it allowed the participants to transform the knowledge they acquired during the “pioneer” journey into integrated marketing strategies that reflect the development of their projects and the maturity of their market vision.
For his part, Firas Al-Zein, CEO of Zenith Middle East, said that the submitted offers reflected a distinct level of ambition and quality of the projects participating in “Falcon Tank,” noting that the company provided practical guidance to participants on the importance of marketing and media in the stages of company expansion.
The participants presented integrated marketing plans before a specialized jury, which demonstrated development in strategic marketing thinking, enhanced market readiness, and the ability to transform ideas into implementable strategies.
The results of the competition resulted in the “Thatboardplace” project, founded by Amira Al Khaili and Noura Al Shamsi, winning first place, while “The Noor Creative” project, founded by Nour Al Fahim, won second place, and third place was shared between the “Swendy” project, founded by Hanadi Al Suwaidi, and the “DeineOfficial” project, founded by Fatima Al Yaqoubi.
The support provided to the winning projects is not limited to direct financial financing, but rather includes an integrated package of specialized digital marketing services, which includes developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies specifically designed for each project, with the support of Publicis Group Middle East and its specialized teams, to enable the projects to enhance their digital presence, expand their customer base, and accelerate their sustainable growth in competitive markets.
