21 thousand people and 420 entities attended the workshops "Pensions" Awareness in 2025

Abu Dhabi, March 10, 2025: The number of attendees at the awareness workshops organized by the General Pensions and Social Security Authority during the past year 2025 reached more than 21,000 people and more than 420 employers, which highlights the major role of these events in raising the level of insurance awareness.
The awareness workshops program falls within the employer services provided by the Authority to employers in the private and government sectors registered with it and their insured employees, and aims to enhance understanding of pension laws and the insurance system in the country, to bring about a change in ways of thinking and encourage early planning for retirement, considering it a major pillar for achieving financial stability.
The workshops simplify the federal laws related to pensions, and review ways to enhance the relevant administrative processes, providing detailed guidance on those laws, including “Federal Law No. (7) of 1999,” and “Federal Decree Law No. (57) of 2023,” which are the two laws under which insured members are included in the Authority.
These workshops provide the necessary awareness on basic topics in these laws, such as contribution rates, adding previous service periods, calculating the pension, and end-of-service benefits.
The workshops also focus on enhancing digital and operational efficiency by providing the necessary training on using the “Maashi” digital platform, which simplifies subscription management procedures and enhances employer compliance.
The Authority provides these workshops upon request from the employer, and they can be held in an easy and convenient manner, either online or in person. Employers can request participation in the workshops by visiting the Authority’s official website or through the “Maashi” platform.
