ABU DHABI, 19 March / WAM / Eagle Hills Company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority – Abu Dhabi Endowments, to implement a commercial project worth one billion dirhams, bearing the name “Mother of the Emirates City” in honor of the tireless efforts made by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and the proceeds from the project will be allocated to support the campaign. “Mother of the Emirates Endowment for Orphans”, which was launched by the Authority under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect him, with the aim of providing a sustainable endowment funding source for orphan care in the country.
The agreement signing ceremony took place in the presence of His Excellency Abdul Hamid Mohammed Saeed, Chairman of the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority “Abu Dhabi Endowments”, His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Secretary General of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation, His Excellency Mohamed Al Abbar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Eagle Hills”, Hisham Ibrahim, CEO of Eagle Hills Group, and His Excellency Fahd Abdul Qadir Al Qasim, Director General of the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority “Abu Dhabi Endowments”.
Under the memorandum of understanding, Eagle Hills will develop and implement the project to contribute to achieving sustainable endowment returns, which will be directed to support orphans in the fields of education, health care and decent living, ensuring the continuity of the campaign’s humanitarian impact and enhancing the endowment’s role as an effective development tool.
