المملكة: Urgent – Public Security: A million riyals fine for anyone who facilitates the entry of border violators into the Kingdom

Public Security clarified that anyone who facilitates the entry of border security violators into the Kingdom or their transportation within it or their employment, or provides them with shelter or provides them with any assistance or service in any form, shall be punished with the following penalties:

• Prison for a period of up to 15 years.
• A fine of up to one million riyals.
• Confiscation of the means of transportation.
• Confiscation of housing that was specially prepared to house a border security violator or used for this purpose only. If the home – the subject of the confiscation – belongs to someone else, then he shall be punished with a fine of up to one million riyals.

This crime is considered one of the major crimes requiring arrest and breach of honor and trust.
