The Russian ambassador in Tehran reveals the location of Mojtaba Khamenei

The RTVI news platform, citing the Russian ambassador to Iran, reported on Tuesday that the new Iranian leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is inside the country, but is reluctant to appear in public for “understandable reasons.”

The United States said it believed that Mujtaba was injured and likely disfigured.

Mojtaba Khamenei has issued several statements since announcing his assumption of the position following the killing of his father, Ali Khamenei, but he has not appeared in public.
