The President and the King of Jordan discuss by telephone joint cooperation and regional developments and their repercussions on security and stability in the region
ABU DHABI, 2nd April, 2018 (WAM) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed today, during a phone call he received from his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, regional developments and their dangerous repercussions on regional and international security and stability.
During the call, the two sides also discussed the ongoing Iranian terrorist aggression targeting the UAE, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the countries of the region, and the violation it represents of the sovereignty of these countries, international laws and norms, and a threat to regional peace and security.
His Highness the President and His Majesty the King of Jordan reviewed the fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation between the two countries, stressing their keenness to continue consultation, fraternal coordination and joint work in a way that serves their mutual interests and brings good to their peoples.
