He explained that The weather condition includes precipitation ranging in intensity from moderate to heavy in a number of regions, accompanied by activity in surface winds stirring up dust and torrents, hail falling, and rising waves on the coasts, with the possibility of the formation of waterfalls in some coastal locations.

The Center indicated that a number of governorates of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region were affected by moderate to heavy rains, including Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Turabah, Al-Muwayyah, Al-Khurma, and Raniyah, during The period from Tuesday, April 7, until Friday, April 10, at different time periods, while the Al-Baha region is affected by moderate to heavy rains, including the governorates of Al-Makhwah, Al-Hajra, Ghamid Al-Zanad, and Qalwa on Thursday, April 9, and Friday, April 10.

The situation also includes the governorates of Al-Baha, Al-Mandaq, Bani Hassan, Al-Qura, Al-Aqiq, and Baljurashi during the period from Tuesday, April 7, until Friday, April 10, as the report indicated that the heavy rains intensify on Thursdays. And Friday.

The rain condition intensifies

The center added that the Asir region is witnessing moderate to heavy rains, including the governorates of Tarib, Dhahran Al-Janoub, Al-Harjah, Sarat Ubaidah, Sarat Rufaidah, Ahad Rufaidah, Khamis Mushayt, Abha, Al-Majaridah, Mahayil, Bariq, Rijal Almaa, Tanumah, Al-Namas, Tathleeth, Bisha, Al-Farsha, and Belqarn, during the period from Monday, April 6, until Friday, April 10, With the rainy situation expected to intensify on Thursday and Friday.

He also explained that the situation includes the Jazan region with moderate to heavy rainfall in the governorates of Al-Reith, Haroub, Al-Dair, Al-Eidabi, Fayfa, Al-Arda and Al-Harath during the same period, with intensification on Thursday and Friday, in addition to the governorates of Ahad Al-Masarha, Samtah, Al-Tuwal, Abu Arish and Damad being affected by moderate to heavy rain on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10, as well as the governorates of Jazan and Sabya. Baysh and Al-Darb received moderate to heavy rains during the same two days.

The Center indicated that the Najran region was affected by moderate to heavy rains, including Najran, Badr Al-Janoub, Habouna, Yadma, Thar and Khabash during the period from Monday, April 6 until Friday, April 10, while Sharurah Governorate was affected by light to moderate rains on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10.

Riyadh Region Rains

The Center also indicated that the region was affected by Riyadh will experience moderate to heavy rains in the governorates of Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Sulayl, and Al-Aflaj during the period from Tuesday, April 7, until Friday, April 10, while light to moderate rains include the governorates of Al-Quwaiyah, Al-Dawadmi, and Afif during the same period.

The situation also extends to the governorates of Thadig, Shaqra, Al-Qiddiya, Marat, Durma, Al-Muzahmiya, Al-Dalam, Riyadh, Al-Ghat, Al-Kharj, Al-Hareeq, Hotat Bani Tamim, Al-Rain, Rumah, Al-Diriyah, Huraymila, Al-Majma’ah, and Al-Zulfi on daily basis. Wednesday, April 8 and Thursday, April 9.

The Al-Jawf region witnessed light rains on Al-Qurayyat, Tabarjal, Dumat Al-Jandal, and Sakaka on Tuesday, April 7, and Wednesday, April 8, 2026 AD, while the Tabuk, with light rain, including Tabuk, Taima, Haql, and Al-Bidaa on Wednesday, April 8.

Eastern Region Weather

The center added that the situation also includes the northern border region, with light rain on Turaif and Arar on Tuesday, April 7, and extends to include Rafha and Al-Uwaiqila on Wednesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 9.

The eastern region is also affected by light to moderate rain, including Abqaiq, Al-Olayya, Al-Nairyah, Al-Khobar, Qatif, and Ras Tanura. Jubail, Dammam, and Al-Ahsa on Wednesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 9, in addition to the governorates of Hafr Al-Batin and Al-Khafji being affected by light to moderate rain on Thursday, April 9.

The National Center of Meteorology indicated that the weather condition is accompanied by a number of influential weather phenomena, including the activity of descending winds that raise dust and dust at a speed that may reach 50 to 60 kilometers per hour or more, in addition to the possibility of torrential rains, hail, and high waves on the coasts, and the possibility of the formation of Waterfalls and oppressive hurricanes in some coastal areas.

He indicated that initial forecasts indicate continued chances of rain in most regions of the Kingdom until the end of next week, stressing the continuation of issuing reports and updates successively according to weather developments, and calling on everyone to follow the early warning bulletins issued through official channels in order to preserve public safety.
