The Sultanate of Oman condemns the attack on the UAE embassy in Syria

Muscat, April 5 / WAM / The Sultanate of Oman expressed its condemnation of the attacks that targeted the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and the clear violation of international diplomatic norms and conventions that guarantee the sanctity of diplomatic missions and the safety of their workers.

The Sultanate of Oman affirmed, in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, broadcast by the Oman News Agency, its categorical rejection of such actions that affect the security and safety of diplomatic headquarters, stressing the need to respect the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and ensure the protection of diplomatic missions at all times.
