US-Israeli strikes on an airport in southwestern Iran
Target US-Israeli strikes on an airport in the city of Ahvaz, southwest of Iran, according to what the official IRNA news agency reported on Sunday.
The agency quoted a deputy Governor of Khuzestan May God save my life, saying that "Martyr (Qassem) Soleimani International Airport was targeted by an air strike carried out by American-Zionist forces"
American diplomatic facilities
On the other hand, Iraqi armed factions loyal to Iran carried out two attacks on Saturday night and Sunday night on American diplomatic facilities in Iraq, according to the Washington Embassy in Baghdad.
An embassy spokesman said in a statement on Sunday. "Iraqi terrorist militias loyal to Iran carried out two more heinous attacks on American diplomatic facilities in Iraq last night, in an attempt to assassinate American diplomats.".
