The Syrian Business Council in the Emirates denounces the riots and vandalism at the headquarters of the UAE diplomatic mission in Damascus

The Chairman and members of the Board of Directors and the Honor Committee of the Syrian Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates denounced, in the strongest terms, the riots and sabotage carried out by a limited group of outlaws, linked to the Iranian regime, most of whom include non-Syrian elements, which affected the headquarters of the diplomatic mission of the United Arab Emirates in Damascus.
The Council said in a statement today: “As we affirm that these condemnable acts represent a flagrant violation of international norms and conventions that guarantee the protection of diplomatic missions, we call on the competent authorities in the Syrian government to immediately investigate and reveal the identity of those involved, and hold them accountable and bring them to justice in accordance with legal procedures.”
The Syrian Business Council confirmed that the United Arab Emirates was and continues to be a model in embracing the Syrian people, as it opened its doors to hundreds of thousands of them and provided them with a generous and safe environment to participate in the process of development and prosperity.
At the conclusion of its statement, the Council stressed that the members of the Syrian community in the UAE, as they express their deep gratitude to this generous country, affirm their full support for it in the face of any attack or abuse, and their adherence to the values of loyalty and belonging that unite them with it.
