The death toll from the Israeli attacks rose to 1,497 dead and 4,639 injured

The total death toll from the Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 until Monday has risen to 1,497 dead and 439 injured.

The Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced, in its daily report on developments in the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, that “the total number of deaths from March 2 to April 6 rose to 1,497, and the number of injured rose to 4,639. The number of deaths in the past twenty-four hours reached 36, and the number of injured was 209.”

The report indicated that “the number of children killed reached 130 children and the number of injured children reached 457 children.”

The report pointed out that “the number of deaths in the health sector rose to 57, while the number of injuries in the health sector rose to 154. The number of attacks on first aid associations reached 92, and the number of hospitals that were forced to close as a result of the attacks and threats reached 6 hospitals.”
