Grossi: The attacks near Bushehr station have serious consequences in Iran and beyond

Warning of a radiological disaster
Russia, whose experts help operate the station, said that the strikes herald a radiological disaster more deadly than the Chernobyl disaster.

The agency analyzed images of the site taken by satellites, which confirmed that the final attack had occurred, which did not cause any damage to the facilities.
198 workers evacuated from the station
The Bushehr station, which was built with Russian assistance, is the only operating nuclear reactor in Iran, according to the international agency affiliated with the United Nations.
Official Russian media reported that 198 workers were evacuated from the station after the last strike, while about 100 Russian employees at the site.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned after the recent attack that continuing attacks in the vicinity of the station may cause a radiation leak. "It ends life in the capitals of the Gulf Cooperation Council, not in Tehran"
The station is located on the banks of the Gulf in the far southwest of Iran, and is closer to some Gulf capitals than it is to Tehran.
