Juventus competes with Barcelona to include Silva

Press reports revealed a serious move by the Italian club Juventus to secure the services of English Manchester City playmaker, Portuguese star Bernardo Silva, as part of the “Old Lady’s” quest to strengthen the team’s ranks with international names.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Juventus offers Bernardo Silva a contract to include him for 7-8 million euros for 3 seasons.”

She added: “The Portuguese player receives 10 million euros from Manchester City.”

She continued: “Silva received offers from Barcelona and clubs in the Saudi and American leagues.”

Spanish assistant coach Pep Guardiola, Lijnders, announced the departure of the Portuguese star at the end of the current season, bringing the curtain down on a career full of achievements at Al-Ittihad.

This step comes after Silva informed the club’s management of his desire to engage in a new experience, indicating in previous statements that the cultural factors and lifestyle in Manchester are not compatible with his personal aspirations, preferring to move to warmer regions in southern Europe.
