The imprint of Mehdi Ali and Pirlo made my development

Former national team player Habib Al-Fardan confirmed that his joining the ranks of the United team, which competes in the First Division League, is an important step in his sporting career, after a series of rich experiences that he had with several clubs, most notably Al-Wasl at the beginning of his career, along with Al-Nasr, Shabab Al-Ahly, and Kalba, which formed distinctive stations in his career.

Al-Fardan explained that from the first day he joined the United team, he felt the confidence of the technical staff and management, which helped him adapt quickly, in light of the high spirit enjoyed by the team and the teamwork to achieve a common goal.

It is noteworthy that Al-Fardan joined United at the beginning of the current season, coming from Kalba, in his first experience in the first division. United currently leads the league standings with 44 points, while the player succeeded in scoring three goals and contributing to eight goals.

Al-Fardan said in statements to Emirates Al-Youm: “I was honored to work with great coaches like Mahdi Ali and Andrea Pirlo, and each of them had their own mark on my career. Coach Mahdi Ali helped me a lot in terms of tactics and discipline on the field, and he played an important role in my development as a player.”

He added: “As for the Italian coach Andrea Pirlo, he added a lot to me in terms of reading the game and dealing with the variables of the match on the field. Frankly, I am lucky to work with such valuable names, and I have benefited from every experience I have had.”

Al-Fardan confirmed that the support he received from United Club management, especially President Elie Sebano, along with the technical staff and team supervisor Mohamed Qasim, played a major role in his emergence at a distinguished technical level.

He pointed out that he was among the most prominent players of the national team during the supervision of coach Mahdi Ali, and achieved many achievements, especially with Shabab Al-Ahly, before moving to Al-Nasr and then Kalba.

Al-Fardan considered that his joining United represents an important turning point in his career, saying: “Sometimes the player goes through circumstances beyond his control that keep him out of the starting lineup, but at United there is a real appreciation for the effort, and the player is treated fairly based on his contribution on the field.”

He revealed his ambition to help the team achieve progress and provide distinguished technical levels during the current season.

He explained that the first division league is characterized by a high competitive level, and there are no easy matches, which requires great focus and effort in every match.

He stressed that continuity in playing is the most important factor for the development of any player, stressing that regular participation contributes to raising the technical level.

He concluded his speech by saying: “I learned a lot from coaches and players during my career, and each stage has its own mark on the development of my personality and level. There are many names that influenced me, and I do not want to mention a specific name so as not to be unfair to others.”

He advised talented players on the need for commitment and hard work, stressing that talent alone is not enough, but must be accompanied by patience and discipline on and off the field.

Habib Al-Fardan spoke about the possibility of returning to the ranks of the national team, and said: “Giving the opportunity to new generations is a healthy and important matter, and representing the national team is an honor for any player. “I am always ready, and if the opportunity comes, I will give my all.”
Al-Fardan confirmed his happiness at regaining his position in the starting lineup for his team, “United,” noting that participating in scoring decisive goals gave him great motivation to continue.
