Today, the UAE air defenses dealt with 17 ballistic missiles and 35 drones

The Ministry of Defense announced that the UAE air defenses dealt with 17 ballistic missiles and 35 drones coming from Iran today.

The ministry said in a blog post on its account on the “X” platform that since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, the UAE air defenses have dealt with 537 ballistic missiles, 26 cruise missiles, and 2,256 drones.

The Ministry added: “These attacks resulted in 3 minor injuries, bringing the total number of cases to 224, of multiple nationalities including: Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, and Comoros. Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish, Tunisian, Moroccan, and Russian.”

She stated: “No cases of martyrdom or deaths were recorded during the past hours, and thus, since the beginning of the blatant Iranian attacks, the total number of martyrs has reached two martyrs, in addition to the martyrdom of a civilian of Moroccan nationality contracted with the armed forces, while the total number of deaths reached 10 civilians of the nationalities: Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, Indian, and Egyptian.”

The Ministry of Defense confirmed that it is fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats, and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the state’s security, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protects its national interests and capabilities.
