We have begun the process of opening the Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump announced today that his country is about to begin the process of clearing the Strait of Hormuz of mines to serve the countries of the whole world.
Trump said in a blog post on “Truth Social”: “Iran’s naval fleet, its air force, its anti-aircraft devices, its radars, its missile and drone factories, in addition to the missiles and aircraft themselves, and most importantly, its ‘leaders’ who ruled it for a long time are gone.”
He added: “All 28 of their boats are designated for dropping mines on the seabed.”

And between: “The only thing Iran has left is the possibility of one of its sea mines colliding with a ship crossing the Strait of Hormuz.”
