The official spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, explained that the rainy weather condition includes the regions of Riyadh, Asir, Jazan, Najran, and Al-Baha, extending to the highlands of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.

He explained that the expectations indicate Chances of rainfallrange from moderate to heavy in some locations, which may be accompanied by activity in surface winds and torrent flow in valleys and reefs.

Al-Qahtani revealed the variation in precipitation rates recorded during the past twenty-four hours, as the Asir region in Abha Governorate topped the highest amounts at 65.6 mm, to reflect the intensity of the rainy condition in the region.

He pointed out that the region Riyadh came in second, with King Khalid Reserve recording 42.2 mm, while the city of Dammam in the Al-Qadisiyah neighborhood recorded amounts of 20.6 mm.

The National Center of Meteorology called on all citizens and residents to closely follow the periodic reports issued, and to strictly adhere to the instructions and directives published by the competent authorities to ensure public safety.

The regulatory system stressed the need to take “caution and caution,” especially for road users and residents of low-lying areas. It is expected to be directly affected by the repercussions of the rainy weather during the coming days.
