Any Iranian ship that comes within range of the US blockade will be destroyed

US President Donald Trump warned that his forces would destroy any “fast attack ships” returning to Iran seeking to break the blockade that Washington announced it would impose on its ports starting Monday.

Trump said in a post on the Truth Social platform, “Warning: If any of these ships approach our blockade, they will be eliminated immediately,” in an implicit reference to the fast attack boats that Iran possesses.

“What we did not target were the small number of their ships, which they call ‘fast attack ships,’ because we did not consider them a significant threat,” Trump wrote in the post.

He added: “If any of these ships approach our blockade, they will be destroyed immediately using the same filtering system that we use against drug traffickers on their boats at sea. It is a rapid and brutal operation.”

The US President reminded that the largest ships of the Iranian Navy “have been destroyed.” He pointed out that his forces “will use the same killing system that we adopted against drug smugglers’ boats at sea,” in reference to the strikes that Washington was carrying out on boats off Venezuela while it was besieged.
