The Authority clarified the requirement that the pilgrim achieve the minimum health capacity, while being free of a number of diseases that It affects public health, and includes cases of major organ failure such as kidney failure that requires dialysis, heart failure that is accompanied by symptoms with minimal effort, chronic lung disease that requires the use of oxygen, in addition to cirrhosis of the liver accompanied by indicators of failure.

It also included RequirementsExclusion of people with severe neurological and psychological diseases that impede perception or movement, and cases of old age accompanied by dementia, in addition to pregnant women in the last three months or cases of high-risk pregnancies, as well as people with active infectious diseases such as open pulmonary tuberculosis and hemorrhagic fevers, and patients with active cancer who receive chemotherapy or immunosuppressive drugs.

With regard to immunizations, the authority confirmed the compulsory obtaining of a vaccine Neisseria meningitis for all pilgrims and workers no less than 10 days before travel, with a validity period of five years for the associated vaccine, and three years for the polysaccharide vaccine, and if the type of vaccine is not stated in the certificate, the validity is calculated as three years.

It also required proof of immunization against the Covid-19 virus by obtaining a dose of the updated vaccine for the 2025-2026 season, or completing the basic doses during previous years, or submitting proof of recovery within a year. 2025.

With regard to polio, the requirements obligated those coming from specific countries to obtain the vaccine, whether inactivated or oral, before traveling, according to specific time periods, while those coming from endemic countries in Africa and the Americas were required to obtain the yellow fever vaccine for those over the age of 9 months.

The preventive health guidelines included an emphasis on washing hands regularly, using tissues when coughing, and wearing masks in public places. Crowded areas, in addition to avoiding contact with camels on farms or markets, with the recommendation to obtain the seasonal influenza vaccine.

With regard to food safety, the instructions stressed the necessity of cooking food well, washing fruits and vegetables, avoiding drinking unpasteurized milk or eating raw meat, and not using spoiled canned food.
