An advisor to the Ukrainian Defense Minister survived a Russian drone attack

A senior advisor to the Ukrainian Defense Minister announced on Monday that he miraculously survived a Russian drone attack that destroyed his home.

Serhiy Beskrestnov, an advisor to Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, said he was wounded in the attack but survived.

“The attack hurt me, but the most important thing is that, miraculously, I am still alive,” 51-year-old Beskrestnov wrote, posting a photo of himself from the hospital.

It is noteworthy that Beskrestnov specializes in military wireless communications technologies, and since the beginning of the war, he has been working diligently on the front lines in the fields of communications, electronic warfare, and reconnaissance, including drone operations.

He was appointed as an advisor to Fedorov in these areas last January.
