Called The National Center of Meteorology Interested parties and individuals and practitioners in the meteorology sector are requested to benefit from the system of professional and institutional licenses and permits offered by the Center, which number 14 licenses, as part of its efforts to regulate meteorological services in the Kingdom and enhance the reliability of And permitsunder the title (Do not delay them) that the licensing system includes a number of professional specializations for individuals, the most prominent of which are: maintenance technician, observer, forecaster, advanced observer, chief observer, maintenance supervisor, and chief forecaster, within the framework of supporting the development of national competencies working in the fields of monitoring, forecasting, maintenance and operation of meteorological stations, and raising the level of efficiency of professional practices in a way that enhances the quality of meteorological services provided in the Kingdom.

He stated The licenses directed to the authorities include licenses to establish meteorological stations (under construction and existing), manage, operate and calibrate stations, and installation and maintenance works, in addition to licenses for non-profit services related to disseminating and exploiting meteorological data and information in accordance with the approved regulatory frameworks, in a way that enhances the reliability of meteorological information and improves the quality of services provided in this sector.
