He added: "The operation was carried out with the participation of (30) consultants, specialists, nursing and technical staff in several specialties, including anesthesia, intensive care, advanced radiology, plastic surgery and other supporting specialties, in order to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and safety during all stages of the operation."

He stated that the operation is the third to separate conjoined twins from the Philippines and No. (70) within the series of operations of the Saudi Program for Conjoined Twins, which has a history of more than (35) years, covered (27) countries, and studied (157) cases from various parts of the world. This confirms the pioneering role played by the Kingdom in this rare medical specialty, with the direct support and care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them -.
