The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that the Minister Abbas Araghchi left Islamabad to Russia On Sunday, he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin is in St. Petersburg, on his visit, which begins today, Monday.

The Iranian ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, wrote on the X platform that Araqchi will meet Putin in St. Petersburg.
The ambassador’s post stated that: "Within the framework of continuing the diplomatic jihad in defense of the country’s interests and in light of external threats, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran will meet with the President of Russia during his visit to St. Petersburg.".

The failure of the negotiations
Araqchi returned on Sunday to Pakistan, which is leading the mediation efforts between Tehran and Washington, after he went to Muscat as part of a tour during which he presented the developments related to the talks with the United States.
