المملكة: “Mawhiba” launches its summer program… and paths to qualify students for scientific competitions

It launched King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, its summer research enrichment program to qualify gifted students for scientific competitions, through an interactive environment that begins on July 5, 2026 and lasts for four weeks.
The Foundation explained that the program targets students of the National Program for Gifted Identification, from the third intermediate grade to the second secondary grade, according to a part-time system that allows them to make the most of it without affecting their other obligations.
Qualitative paths
She revealed that the initiative includes advanced qualitative paths that keep pace with future aspirations, most notably data science and Artificial intelligence, computer science and cybersecurity, in addition to physics, earth and space sciences, applied mathematics and modeling, and biomedical sciences.
She explained that these various paths provide participants with an integrated educational environment, allowing them to gain an accurate understanding of the basics of Scientific research and its ethics, under the supervision of an elite group of specialists to enhance their knowledge base and expand their awareness.
Practical experiences
The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity confirmed at the conclusion of its announcement that the program will allow students to engage in real practical experiences to build their own research projects, which will contribute to developing their innovative thinking and qualifying them to participate in scientific competitions with confidence and competence.
