15 Emirati women participate in "Zayed Charity Race" In Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, May 2 / WAM / 15 Emirati girls will participate in the Zayed Charity Race scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at “Meskel Square” in Ethiopia, for a distance of 5 km.
Mira Rashid Al Naqbi, one of the participants, said in her statements that her eagerness to participate comes within the framework of strengthening the status of the UAE and its lofty humanitarian mission, in supporting patients and providing medical aid to hospitals around the world.
Nouf Mahdi Al Hajri pointed out that the event is not just a sporting competition, but rather a humanitarian event that consolidates the role played by the UAE, under the guidance of its wise leadership, in supporting initiatives that enhance cooperation between countries, serve humanitarian issues, and establish the values of love and peace among peoples.
Sanaa Mohammed Al Kaabi noted the great appreciation in which the race is held by the Ethiopian people, and their keenness to interact with them by registering to participate in it, describing their participation as a national duty.
Moza Al Muhairi explained that the race confirms the pivotal role of the UAE in supporting humanitarian efforts and extending a helping hand to those in need around the world, through various initiatives, including sports initiatives.
Alaa Ibrahim described the race as an important milestone in the UAE’s charitable journey, which prompted her to register her name and travel with her colleagues to participate in the framework of strengthening the UAE’s global standing on the international humanitarian level.
