Saqr Ghobash: Bahrain’s security is an integral part of the security of the UAE and the Gulf states
ABU DHABI, 3rd May / WAM / His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, affirmed that the United Arab Emirates expresses its full and steadfast support for all sovereign measures taken by the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, to ensure the preservation of its national sovereignty, the protection of its gains, and the enhancement of its security and stability, in the face of any attempts or threats aimed at undermining its security or compromising its stability.
His Excellency explained that these positions stem from the deep-rooted ties of brotherhood and strong historical relations that bring together the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the common visions that bring the two countries together based on consolidating security and stability, preserving the capabilities of the people, and promoting paths of development and prosperity.
His Excellency stressed that the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain is an integral part of the security of the UAE and the Gulf states, stressing that any threat affecting the security of Bahrain requires a unified position and complete solidarity in the face of all challenges.
His Excellency also affirmed the UAE’s firm and unlimited solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, and its continued support for all steps and measures taken by its wise leadership to enhance its national security, consolidate its stability, and preserve its institutions, in a way that achieves the aspirations of its brotherly people towards further progress and development.
His Excellency concluded by emphasizing that the UAE, with its wise leadership and firm vision, will remain a support and supporter of the Kingdom of Bahrain, based on its belief in the unity of destiny and the importance of joint action in facing challenges, in a way that enhances security and stability in the region and serves the interests of its peoples.
