Grazing violation in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve
The Special Forces for Environmental Security were able to arrest a citizen violating the environmental system, for committing a violation of grazing (19) camels in sites where grazing is prohibited in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, and implemented Regular procedures against him.
The forces confirmed that the penalty for grazing camels is a fine (500) riyals for each camel.
A violator was caught by setting fire in the eastern region
The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested a citizen violating the environmental regulations; For not adhering to the instructions and guidelines for preserving vegetation cover by lighting fires in places not designated for them in the Eastern Region, and regular procedures were applied against him.
The forces confirmed that the penalty for setting fires in places not designated for them in forests and national parks is a fine of up to (3,000) riyals.
Reporting violations
The forces were urged to report any cases representing an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the areas Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and Sharqiya, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any responsibility on the part of the person reporting.
