760.7 million dirhams in revenues from Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics during the first quarter

Ras Al Khaimah, 12 May / WAM / Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics recorded total revenues of 760.7 million dirhams during the first quarter of 2026, compared to 776.5 million dirhams in the same period of 2025.

The company achieved strong performance during the first quarter, supported by strong demand in the United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh

It has succeeded in meeting market demand despite ongoing regional geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions, and rising logistics costs.

As a local manufacturing company, RAK Ceramics has benefited from its operational flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions.

By reformulating its supply strategy with a greater focus on local raw materials, the company was able to maintain continuity of supplies to its customers and partners across its various markets, in addition to effectively reducing the impact of supply chain disruptions and efficiently dealing with market fluctuations.

Proactive management and disciplined operational execution contributed to ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining stable product availability, in addition to providing reliable services across key markets, which contributed to enhancing customer confidence.

During this period, RAK Ceramics established its position as a reliable partner in the sector, through its continued commitment to fulfilling its commitments and maintaining the efficiency of its operations despite the challenges and changes witnessed in the business environment.

During the first quarter of 2026, the gross profit margin remained stable at 39.4% during the first quarter of 2026, compared to 39.7% during the same period in 2025.

Profit before tax decreased by 17.9% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 53 million dirhams, compared to 64.5 million dirhams in the first quarter of 2025, while net profit after tax decreased by 21.8% to reach 38.2 million dirhams, compared to 48.9 million dirhams during the same period of the previous year.

In the first quarter of 2026, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization decreased by 6.1% to reach 127.3 million dirhams, compared to 135.6 million dirhams in the same period in 2025.

Abdullah Massad, CEO of RAK Ceramics Group, said that despite the challenges witnessed in the first quarter, which was characterized by a state of macroeconomic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and supply chain disruptions, RAK Ceramics was able to achieve strong results, thanks to the diversification of its operations and the strength of its regional presence. The precautionary measures taken by management, in addition to improving the efficiency of supply chains, contributed to ensuring the availability of products and maintaining reliable service levels across various markets.

Massad added that demand continued to record strong levels in both the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by continued activity in the construction sector and rising project contributions. As a local manufacturing company, RAK Ceramics’ operations in the UAE continue to benefit from national initiatives, including the “Make in the Emirates” initiative, in addition to the advanced industrial environment that supports the growth of the sector.
