"Women’s Union" concludes "Al Mozn Exhibition 16"

Abu Dhabi, May 13 / WAM / The General Women’s Union concluded the activities of “Al Muzn 16 Exhibition”, which was hosted by “Nation Towers Mall” in the capital, Abu Dhabi, during the period from April 27 to May 11, 2026, with wide participation from productive families and emerging national talents.

The sixteenth edition of the exhibition gained special importance, as its organization this year came in the context of the Union’s celebration of the “Year of the Family,” and an embodiment of the wise vision of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates,” President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, to empower Emirati women economically and transform the energies of productive families into sustainable projects that contribute to the domestic product, in line with the strategic directions of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision. 2030.

Her Excellency Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary General of the General Women’s Union, confirmed that this edition represents a special celebration of the Emirati family, noting that under the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates,” the Union is keen during the “Year of the Family” to present initiatives that touch the depth of Emirati society and support its stability and development, and Al Muzn Exhibition represents a bridge linking the aspirations of families and the economic future, which contributes effectively to the comprehensive development process witnessed by the country.

She added that the inclusion of the “small merchant” category in this edition, in cooperation with their families, aimed to instill the values ​​of entrepreneurship in the hearts of the younger generations, and to provide an interactive environment that strengthens community ties and highlights the quality of the local product and its ability to compete in the market.

The exhibition witnessed wide participation, including 40 productive families, where 26 families presented various products, including fashion, perfumes, accessories, and traditional handicrafts, while 14 other families joined under the “small merchant” category.

In addition to the marketing aspect, the exhibition presented a rich agenda of accompanying activities, which included a group of interactive workshops aimed at developing participants’ skills, in addition to launching “Sana” campaigns dedicated to promoting authentic societal values ​​and national identity, which made the exhibition an integrated awareness and social platform.

As part of the General Women’s Union’s efforts to promote digital transformation, all participating families were included in the “My Store” application, which is a specific project launched by the Union under the generous patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates,” to employ technology in serving productive families, ensuring participants a permanent electronic marketing platform for their products to reach the largest segment of consumers.

It is noteworthy that the continuation of the “Al Mozn Exhibition” until its sixteenth edition is a reflection of the Women’s Union’s firm commitment to empowering productive families economically and socially. The exhibition also represents a fundamental pillar in the Union’s efforts to preserve heritage crafts and industries, by working to develop and market them in a modern manner that keeps pace with the requirements of modernity without compromising their essence, which ensures their sustainability as an integral part of the economic and cultural identity rooted in the conscience of Emirati society.
