Study: High levels of education among immigrants in Europe

, but significant differences still exist between countries.
The study conducted by the Foundation showed "Rock Wall" Berlin in it rose from 26% in 2017 to
32.6% last year.

The study does not differentiate between people who completed their education before immigrating or those who did so in Europe.
The increase is in line with the rise in higher education rates among European citizens from 30.3% in 2017 to 37.7% in 2025.

She pointed out that immigration is a politically sensitive issue, as the European Union intends to implement reforms with the aim of reducing the numbers of arrivals.
Attracting skilled global workers
At the same time, the European bloc is facing a shortage of skilled workers, and countries such as Germany are trying hard to attract skilled global workers to help confront the decline in population numbers.
The study concluded that the numbers vary strongly from one country to another, as obtaining a university degree among immigrants is more common. More likely than citizens of countries including Luxembourg, Denmark, Latvia, and the Czech Republic.
