المملكة: Preparing more than 33,000 buses and 5,000 taxis to serve the pilgrims

Declared General Authority for Transport More than 33,000 buses and 5,000 taxis are ready to serve Guests of God through Hajj season 1447 AH, as part of its operational and supervisory plans aimed at supporting the flow of movement and raising the efficiency of transportation services provided to pilgrims at various stages of their movement.
The operational plans include operating 139 buses for transport between cities, carrying out more than 1,139 trips weekly across 32 routes, in a way that enhances connectivity between the cities of the Kingdom, and supports the flow of movement of the pilgrims between different ports and regions during the season. Hajj.
Integration of Efforts
This readiness comes within the framework of the integration of operational and organizational efforts implemented by the General Transport Authority; With the aim of enhancing the readiness of transportation services and raising their operational efficiency, by providing multiple transportation services through various options and approved prices, in accordance with regulatory and supervisory requirements that guarantee the quality of service and the safety of the beneficiaries, which contributes to providing a safe and organized transportation experience for pilgrims, and supports the smooth flow of movement between the holy sites and the main and vital sites in Mecca during the Hajj season.
