المملكة: "Qatif technology".. Organizing a workshop “Mathematics in our Lives” with the participation of 50 trainees
Organized by the Department of General Studies At the College of Technology in Qatif, in cooperation with the Activities Unit, a training workshop entitled “Mathematics in Our Daily Lives” was attended by 50 trainees and presented by trainer Yasser Albu Saleh.
The importance of mathematics
The workshop aimed to introduce the trainees to Mathematics and its importance and multiple uses in daily life. Eat "Albu Saleh" Through the workshop, he defined mathematics and its importance, and reviewed the contributions of some Muslim scholars in this field, such as Al-Khwarizmi and Ibn Al-Haytham.
He also highlighted the uses of mathematics in various fields of life, such as economics, engineering, and technology, while providing practical examples that illustrate the importance of mathematics in solving daily problems.
For his part, he stressed "Issa Muhammad Ali"Head of the Department of General Studies, stressed the importance of mathematics in building The analytical and logical abilities of the trainees, pointing to the department’s role in enhancing awareness of the importance of mathematics in practical life.
The head of the activities unit pointed out, "Jawad Al Muhaisen"He pointed out that the workshop comes within the ongoing efforts of the Activities Unit to organize educational and training events that contribute to developing the trainees’ skills and qualifying them for the labor market.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Engineer Hafez Al-Ghamdi, expressed his appreciation for the efforts made in organizing the workshop, stressing the importance of mathematics in building and developing society, and his continued support for activities that enhance the trainees’ skills.
