"Emirates Health" Organizes the Fifth Congress of Cardiovascular Diseases

Fujairah, May 17 / WAM / The Emirates Health Services Corporation, represented by Dibba Al-Fujairah Hospital, organized the fifth medical conference for cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders, with the participation of an elite group of consultants, doctors and specialists, as part of the Foundation’s efforts to enhance continuing medical education and develop clinical practices in specialties related to heart and kidney diseases and metabolic disorders, in keeping with the latest internationally approved standards and therapeutic protocols.
His Excellency Dr. Issam Al Zarouni, Executive Director of the Medical Services Sector at the Emirates Health Services Corporation, stressed that the conference reflects the organization’s commitment to investing in specialized medical knowledge and enhancing integration between various clinical specialties, which contributes to developing the quality of health care and improving treatment outcomes for patients. He pointed out that heart diseases, metabolic disorders, and kidney diseases constitute a growing health challenge that requires more comprehensive and integrated models of care, based on early diagnosis, accurate treatment decisions, and the exchange of evidence-based medical expertise, which is what we are keen to achieve. Consolidating it through specialized scientific conferences that enhance the readiness of medical personnel and keep pace with rapid developments in the health sector.
Widad Mohammed Al Fard, Director of Dibba Al Fujairah Hospital, explained that the conference continues its role as a specialized scientific platform that brings together medical expertise to discuss the latest developments related to cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular diseases, kidney and endocrine diseases, and internal medicine, in addition to emergency cases related to these disorders. She added that the conference aimed to support doctors by enhancing their clinical expertise in the fields of diagnosis, evaluation and treatment, in accordance with the latest evidence-based medical guidelines and practices, which contributes to raising the efficiency of health care and improving the quality of life of patients.
The activities of the conference, which lasted for two days, included a specialized program that included scientific lectures and discussion sessions that addressed the latest developments and clinical challenges in the fields of high blood pressure, diabetes, and metabolic disorders related to the heart and kidneys, in addition to a review of the latest therapeutic guidelines, clinical studies, and applied medical experiments in these fields. The conference also highlighted Dibba Al Fujairah Hospital’s experience in dealing with kidney diseases, within the framework of exchanging experiences and promoting advanced medical practices.
