Dubai Holding partners with Microsoft to integrate artificial intelligence into the core of its operations

Dubai, May 18 / WAM / Dubai Holding announced its cooperation with Microsoft to integrate artificial intelligence systems (AI) into the core of its operations.

According to a press release issued today by Dubai Holding, this step makes it the first entity to adopt institutional artificial intelligence in the Middle East and Africa region.

This cooperation establishes the first model for implementing institutional artificial intelligence of this scale in the region, and embodies Dubai Holding’s drive to transform advanced technologies into key operational capabilities, enabling it to build a unified operating model for its business portfolio based on efficient performance and tangible impact, in line with the UAE’s ambition to achieve leadership in adopting artificial intelligence.

Under this cooperation, Dubai Holding will work to integrate artificial intelligence into its main operations and decision-making frameworks, thus enhancing operational efficiency at the group level and its operations, which include real estate, hospitality, retail, entertainment, investments, residential complex management, and others.

Dubai Holding will allow its employees to use these capabilities from a unified interface, enabling them to apply artificial intelligence tools directly within their daily responsibilities.

This transformation includes developing and operating artificial intelligence agents to automate routine tasks and simplify work processes, reshaping Dubai Holding’s approach to productivity and decision-making.

Dubai Holding supports this transformation with a structured training and empowerment program, including targeted workshops and the development of practical use cases, to ensure disciplined adoption of AI capabilities across business units and enable employees to employ them effectively in their roles.

Applying artificial intelligence at this institutional level contributes to increasing Dubai Holding’s contribution to Dubai’s digital transformation ambitions, in line with national strategies, including the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 and the roadmap for the field of artificial intelligence in Dubai, and in a way that enhances the emirate’s position as a global center for applied innovation and the responsible use of advanced technologies.

Dubai Holding confirmed that this reflects its broader approach to promoting the use of artificial intelligence through strategic partnerships with major global technology companies, including its existing joint venture “Aither” with Palantir Technologies.

Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding, said that technology is a fundamental pillar of Dubai Holding’s way of working and approach to creating value, and its cooperation with Microsoft comes as a deliberate step to use artificial intelligence in its main operations on an institutional scale, in line with Dubai’s digital transformation ambitions.

For his part, Brad Smith, Vice Chairman and President of Microsoft Global, said that the next stage of artificial intelligence is determined by how organizations apply it on a large scale to enhance productivity and achieve long-term value. The company’s role is to support its customers, such as Dubai Holding, with the platforms and capabilities necessary to safely integrate artificial intelligence into their operations, while promoting responsible innovation that benefits employees, companies, and the economy as a whole.
