Emirates Development Bank celebrates the graduation of a batch of emerging industrial companies from the business accelerator program

Abu Dhabi, May 18 / WAM / The Emirates Development Bank organized a graduation ceremony for emerging companies from the “Make in the Emirates” accelerator program, in partnership with Brink Project Management Services.
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of 11 emerging industrial companies in a variety of sectors, from food security to advanced manufacturing, on the occasion of the completion of the first phase of the six-month acceleration process, designed to improve manufacturing readiness, expand production capabilities, and enhance export potential.
His Excellency Ahmed Mohammed Al Naqbi, CEO of the Bank, distributed graduation certificates to the companies that completed the program, in the presence of senior representatives of the Emirates Development Bank and Brink Company, along with a group of investors, stakeholders in the sector and partners.
His Excellency Ahmed Mohammed Al Naqbi said that the graduation of this batch of startup companies reflects the Emirates Development Bank’s commitment to enabling emerging industrial companies to move to the stage of actual completion, as we are proud to host them in the bank’s pavilion, but our vision extends beyond this achievement, as we seek through the Make in the Emirates accelerator program to provide company founders with the tools, expertise and networks necessary to build competitive and attractive companies for investors.
The “Make in the UAE” accelerator program provided support to emerging industrial companies through a structured path that included capacity assessments, gap analysis, and the development of customized road maps for growth covering strategic aspects, operations, supply chains, regulatory compliance, finance, and innovation.
Participants benefited from specialized training sessions and mentoring sessions every two weeks, and received the necessary support to communicate with investors, which contributed to enhancing their commercial readiness and ability to expand.
Yassin Abu Dawoud, Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director of Brink in the Middle East and North Africa, said: “The partnership with the Emirates Development Bank reflects our joint commitment to empowering the new generation of emerging manufacturing companies in the UAE. Through this program, we seek to contribute directly to developing the country’s industrial capabilities and enhancing its economic flexibility in the long term.”
