Minister of Community Empowerment: The integrated national health insurance system reflects an advanced Emirati vision for services that enhance the quality of life

Abu Dhabi, May 19 / WAM / Her Excellency Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Empowerment, said that the launch of an integrated national health insurance system reflects a new phase of government thinking that is not limited to developing services, but rather redesigns the citizen’s experience with health care on more interconnected, efficient and sustainable foundations.

Her Excellency added that the importance of this step lies in building a unified national framework that enhances integration between health authorities, improves the quality of performance, and makes access to service clearer and smoother in the various emirates of the country, stressing that real development is measured by the ability of systems to respond early to the needs of society, keep pace with population transformations and modern lifestyles, and empower national competencies and innovation in health care management.

Her Excellency pointed out that the UAE, with its advanced institutional structure and ambitious leadership vision, is moving towards a health model that is more prepared for the future, establishes confidence in government services, and enhances the country’s global position in developing policies that directly affect human life.
