Suhail Al Mazrouei: Zeroing out bureaucracy is a government culture
Abu Dhabi, May 19 / WAM / His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said that zeroing out bureaucracy represents a new government work culture based on speed, efficiency and flexibility, and puts people at the heart of government service.
His Excellency added that the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure’s victory in the “Best Government Team” award reflects our belief that innovation and teamwork are the path towards creating a future government that befits the UAE and its high ambitions.
His Excellency thanked the wise leadership for its continuous support, and to all the work teams that succeeded in transforming challenges into qualitative achievements that enhance the UAE’s leadership in government development.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure continues its efforts to eliminate government bureaucracy by developing more efficient and flexible services, which contributes to enhancing customer experience and speeding up procedures.
The Ministry’s efforts during the year 2025 resulted in reducing customer efforts by 91%, in addition to reducing the required documents by 96%, and canceling more than 740,000 duplicate procedures.
The “sea transport package” also achieved a reduction
Procedures were reduced by 99%, documents were reduced by 95%, and the time period for *completion* was reduced by 94%, which supports the competitiveness of the logistics sector.
