المملكة: Jeddah.. 10 locations for selling livestock via mobile cars during the Hajj season
Adopted Jeddah Governorate Municipality10 temporary municipal sites for selling livestock by mobile vehicles during this year’s Hajj season 1447 AH, as part of its efforts to organize sales operations, ensure food safety, and reduce random practices, and in coordination with the competent security authorities.
This step aims to facilitate residents’ access to the sites Selling regular livestock, ensuring the smooth flow of traffic, and serving the largest segment of citizens and residents, while applying the highest standards of safety and public health.
Sites for the temporary sale of livestock
The sites for the temporary sale of livestock via mobile vehicles are distributed in a number of municipal areas in the Jeddah Governorate, where four locations have been allocated within the Umm al-Salam sub-municipality, including: (near the Al-Amanah Model Slaughterhouse – and near Al-Nahdi Hall, south of the traffic signal). Al-Harazat – Mecca Road “Kilo 26” opposite Al-Hudhayfat Station – Al-Harazat District, north of Sahari Station).
Within the Buriman Sub-municipality, the municipality allocated one site in: (Al-Samer District on Al-Hussein Al-Sahwaji Street).
Within the Al-Janoub Sub-Municipality, two sites were approved: (Al-Ajaweed District, Al-Mundhir Bin Haritha Street – Al-Hada District, Abi Dalf Al-Ajli Street).
Also, it was approved. Identifying two locations within the scope of the Taybah Sub-Municipality in: (Al-Bashair District, Abdullah bin Umayyah Street, may God be pleased with him – Al-Wafa District, behind Omari Khamis Station), in addition to one location within the scope of the Dhahban Municipality: (near Al-Rahma Mosque).
The Secretariat stressed the importance of committing to purchase from approved locations, and not dealing with mobile merchants in places other than the designated points, in order to preserve the health and safety of consumers, stressing that whoever violates the regulations will have a list of penalties applied against him. Municipal violations in cooperation with security authorities.
