Khorfakkan University and Emirates Nature-WWF support sustainability
Sharjah, May 20 / WAM / Today, the Sharjah Marine Science Research Center at Khor Fakkan University signed a cooperation agreement with the Emirates Nature Society, with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of applied environmental research and supporting initiatives concerned with protecting marine biodiversity in light of climate change.
This agreement comes as an extension of the vision of the two sides to build strategic cooperation that contributes to supporting studies and research related to biodiversity and marine and coastal systems and exchanging knowledge and experiences at the local and international levels, in addition to enhancing cooperation in joint environmental initiatives and organizing events, awareness programs and specialized workshops in a way that contributes to supporting national efforts aimed at protecting the environment and achieving sustainability.
