Mohammed bin Rashid witnesses the graduation of members of the UAE Government Leadership Program 2025

DUBAI, 21 MAY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, witnessed the graduation of the class of the UAE Government Leadership Program 2025, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of the Presidential Court, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and the team. His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

The new batch of the “UAE Government Leaders 2025” program included national cadres from federal and local government agencies and private sector companies, from the categories of department heads, project managers, experts, specialists and department directors, as part of a leadership development journey that lasted an entire year.

The training program for the participating national cadres included 5 specialized executive workshops in cooperation with international and Emirati knowledge partners, guidance sessions with international experts, in addition to a knowledge tour in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and work on innovating and implementing 3 development projects that serve the sectors of the economy, environment and industry.

The participating national cadres went through an inspiring experience within the “Expert Track” in government work. They also worked, by selecting model cases around the world, to study government challenges in several countries and work on designing solutions for each of them within the “Adopt a State” track.

The UAE Government Leadership Program 2025 focused on preparing national leaders capable of anticipating the future, understanding global transformations, managing complex and interconnected projects, and making evidence-based policies in the data age, thus enhancing the readiness of government work to keep pace with future changes and challenges.

It is noteworthy that the UAE Government Leadership Program was launched in 2008, as a national initiative aimed at establishing a national capabilities system that includes the best cadres in the country. The program focuses on preparing and developing national competencies, and qualifying an elite group of leaders capable of anticipating the future, and keeping pace with the directions of the UAE government and its visions for the next stage.

The UAE Government Leadership Program seeks to contribute to building the capabilities of national cadres and preparing government leaders with a high level of readiness and proactiveness, with a high ability to keep pace with future challenges, and to support entities in implementing the directives of the UAE government. Since its launch, the program has graduated more than 770 leaders, who have made a positive impact in their entities and in government work.
