Ras Al Khaimah Entrepreneurs Forum discusses supporting small and medium enterprises
Ras Al Khaimah, May 22nd / WAM / The Entrepreneurship Forum was launched at the headquarters of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and was sponsored by the presence of His Excellency Yousef Ismail, Chairman of the Saud Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development, and His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce.
The Chairman of the Saud Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development stressed that the forum comes as a continuation of the successes it achieved in its previous activities to sponsor entrepreneurs, and is an embodiment of the keenness of the Saud Foundation and the Chamber together to support entrepreneurs and enhance the role of small and medium enterprises in advancing economic development in the emirate.
He pointed out that the forum aims to provide a platform that brings entrepreneurs together with supporting bodies and investors, and to open broader horizons for marketing, building partnerships, exchanging experiences, reviewing their success stories, and promoting a culture of innovation and self-employment, in a way that contributes to supporting the local economy and is consistent with the goals of the “Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2030.”
The launching ceremony of the forum’s activities also included a visual presentation in which the Saud Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development reviewed its journey, achievements and goals, in addition to honoring the supporting sponsors and contributors, success partners, in appreciation of their contributions to the success of this event.
The forum witnessed a number of accompanying events, and attendees toured the accompanying exhibition.
His Excellency Mohammed Musabah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, confirmed that the Chamber of Commerce and the Saud Foundation will continue to establish an integrated national system to support entrepreneurship and innovation, noting that the national initiatives and programs implemented by the Ras Al Khaimah government have contributed to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy in the emirate.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi stressed that the Chamber will work hard during the coming years to support the Saud Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development, and together they will be keen to transform qualitative ideas into sustainable investment opportunities to enhance economic growth, support comprehensive development paths, and create an attractive environment for qualitative investments that support entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises.
