Shabab Al-Ahly and Al-Sharjah qualified for the semi-finals of the Vice President’s Basketball Cup
Dubai, May 25 / WAM / Shabab Al-Ahly and Al-Sharjah teams qualified for the semi-finals of the Vice President’s Basketball Cup, the last tournament of the local season, after their victory today over Al-Dhafra and Al-Wahda teams in their quarter-final matches.
Shabab Al-Ahly achieved a major victory over its guest, Al-Dhafra, with a score of 132-96, in the match that was held at the Shabab Al-Ahly Club hall in Dubai, and awaits facing the winner of the match between Al-Bataeh and Al-Wasl scheduled for tomorrow, at the end of the quarter-final competitions.
In the second match, Sharjah defeated Al-Wahda with a score of 114-74, in the match that brought together the two teams in the Sharjah Club Hall, setting up a semi-final match with the winner of the confrontation between Al-Nasr and Al-Jazira.
