He sent a message to the pilgrims from the pulpit of the Grand Mosque, saying: "Be careful to complete your rituals according to what is stated in the Book of your Lord, and the guidance of your Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and thank Him, Glory be to Him, for the blessing of monotheism and the Sunnah, with which God has bestowed His blessing upon us, and be servants of God, brothers, lovers, and fraternities.".
